Why you should visit Dubai Marina

Dubai Marina

IT OFFERS AN INCREDIBLE LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE

Dubai Marina is home to more than 130,000 residents and remains one of the city’s most iconic lifestyle destinations, thanks to its striking skyline, state-of-the-art amenities and buzzing waterfront atmosphere.

A 7km-long canal, lined with luxury yachts and leisure craft, gives the neighbourhood its unique Med-inspired character, while the imposing nearby Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) remains a prime destination for sunseekers and swimmers alike. The bustling beachfront promenade known as The Walk – lined with international restaurants, boutique outlets, and pop-up markets – is renowned as one of Dubai’s most popular hangouts.

The Marina is also located within easy walking distance to Bluewaters Island, home to a host of new retail and dining destinations as well as Ain Dubai – the world’s largest and tallest observation wheel.

IT BOASTS WORLD-CLASS HOTELS

Set to open later this year, Ciel is poised to become one of Dubai Marina’s most iconic landmarks – and the world’s tallest hotel. Developed by The First Group, this record-breaking skyscraper will soar more than 365 metres into the sky, offering over 1,000 guestrooms and suites, cutting-edge amenities and an incredible rooftop observation deck featuring a stunning infinity pool, bar and panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline. Ciel, which will be managed by The First Group Hospitality and will be a member of IHG’s prestigious Vignette Collection, will set a new benchmark for upscale hospitality in Dubai.

Ciel headlines The First Group’s impressive collection of hotels in Dubai Marina, which also includes The First Collection Marina – one of the precinct’s largest hotels, with 497 modern rooms and suites, high-end F&B outlets, a fully equipped gym, spa, pool and flexible event spaces – and Millennium Place Marina, home to 457 upscale rooms and suites and the acclaimed Japanese street-food concept, Ikigai. Rounding out the portfolio is Al Dar Tower, a striking 40-storey residential development featuring a mix of studios and multi-bedroom apartments with premium lifestyle facilities.

AND SOME OF DUBAI’S FINEST RESTAURANTS

Dubai Marina is a hotbed of culinary creativity, offering a global smorgasbord of flavours to suit every palate. Ikigai, located in Millennium Place Marina, remains a standout venue. Co-created with celebrated chef Reif Othman, Ikigai’s menu of modern Japanese izakaya-style dishes and bold cocktails continues to attract foodies from across the city. The wider Marina and JBR area is also home to a string of acclaimed new eateries, from upscale Mediterranean seafood restaurants and beachside grills to vibrant rooftop lounges offering panoramic views. Whether you're looking for an indulgent brunch, a casual bite or a high-end dining experience, Dubai Marina delivers.
