The First Group opens Hotel Local in Jumeirah Village Triangle

The First Group has officially launched Hotel Local, its new upper-scale lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Dubai’s Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT).

As the company’s first property in JVT and its third in the broader Jumeirah Village community, Hotel Local is ideally positioned to meet the rising demand for lifestyle-driven accommodation options in this fast-growing area of Dubai, catering to residents and visitors alike.

Known during its development phase as The One at Jumeirah Village Triangle, Hotel Local is a joint venture with Hoque Global, a Dallas-based investment firm with interests across multiple industries. The project marks Hoque Global’s first foray in the Middle East, as the group seeks to expand its hospitality footprint internationally.

Hotel Local has built its reputation in the U.S. promoting a "Focus on the Guest" philosophy, positioning its properties as community friendly destinations that foster connection, innovation and storytelling – an approach that will be replicated at the JVT property.

With 579 guestrooms and suites, Hotel Local boasts comprehensive guest facilities befitting of a modern urban retreat. Highlights include Farmers Commons, an all-day eatery promoting ethically sourced ingredients, and Neighbourhood Brew, a friendly café and bar offering specialty coffees by day and craft beverages by night. Additional facilities include Rayya Wellness Spa, a rooftop pool with city views, a fitness centre, a dedicated Kid’s Corner, and an outdoor playground. Guests also receive exclusive access to Soluna Restaurants & Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah.
