Beyond the World Expo 2020 – a timeline to success and super status

The Dubai World Expo gets underway in the city between October 2020 and April 2021, bringing with it an estimated 25 million international visitors 180 exhibiting nations. By then, Dubai aims to be attracting 20 million visitors per year, as part of the Dubai Tourism Strategy 2020. Given the current huge growth and success of the hotel and tourism sector and the continued rise of global visitors, the emirate is already well on its way to surpassing those goals.

Plus, the Masar 2020 Project, a AED 10.6 billion plan that will extend Dubai Metro’s Red Line by 15km. 2020 will also see a new world’s tallest in place in the form of The Tower at Dubai Creek.
