New London-Dubai private jet ‘sharing’ service takes flight

Private jet operator JetSmarter has launched the first-ever shared, private JetShuttle flight that will connect Europe to the Middle East, offering JetSmarter members single-seat trips on flights between Dubai and London.

For the first-time in private aviation industry, travellers will be able to reserve seats on direct, scheduled flights between three continents – North America, Europe and the Middle East.

The London to Dubai JetShuttle flight will be served by Legacy 650 aircraft.

Flights from London to Dubai will take off every Friday at 12 noon and the Dubai to London service will depart every Thursday at 8.30pm.

The operator claims the new route will offer significant time savings for passengers traveling to and from each city, using Luton International in London and Al Maktoum International (DWC) in Dubai.

This avoids the hassle of traveling through the two largest commercial airports in the world – London Heathrow and Dubai International (DXB).

Travel time on this JetShuttle route is expected to be seven to eight hours and passengers will be offered a luxury car to drive them to their final destination. This will be available as they step off the aircraft with the vehicle waiting on the tarmac.

“We have a large membership base in Dubai, and due to the high demand, we are expanding our intercontinental JetShuttle service, which will now connect three major continents – North America, Europe and Asia,” said Sergey Petrossov, founder and CEO of JetSmarter.

Reservations for this Intercontinental JetShuttle service are available now and can be made through the JetSmarter app, available for iOS and Android devices.
