The Only Way is Dubai for British TV stars

Dubai has quickly become one of the most popular holiday hotspots on the planet - especially among reality TV stars, it seems.The emirate appears to be a second home for the cast of The Only Way is Essex - aka TOWIE - with a number of them enjoying a sun-kissed break in the Middle East in the past month or so.Sam Faiers was joined by her partner - the aptly-named Joey Essex - during a trip to the Middle East this week.The pair were snapped topping up their tans on one of the city's stunning beaches and they both took to Twitter to declare their love for Dubai.Joey was particularly taken aback by the spectacular buildings that dominate the city's skyline, labelling them as "beautiful".Meanwhile, Sam was clearly enjoying her stay in the Gulf, as she tweeted: "Chilling on the beach … Don't want to come home :-(."Two of the BAFTA award-winning show's former stars have also been enjoying the city's many delights.Amy Childs was seen relaxing by the pool of her glamorous hotel alongside her boyfriend David Peters. She was also joined by other members of her family during the festive break.Just like Joey and Sam, Amy used social media to highlight just how good her time in Dubai was."Had such a great time in Dubai with @David_uk_Peters, all of my friends and family , back to sunny Essex ;) x x x," she wrote earlier this month.Mark Wright - who has also appeared on hit ITV1 show I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in the past - was seen in Dubai over Christmas, where he was photographed with his new flame Michelle Keegan, who is better known as Tina McIntyre from Coronation Street.Clearly, the wonderful beaches, gourmet restaurants, luxurious hotels, gorgeous weather and perhaps most importantly, the amazing selection of designer boutiques, hold a lot of appeal for Essex's finest.
