Kenya Airways has announced that it will be operating to four more destinations in India in the next few years as it looks to expand its reach. In news that could interest those looking to invest in property across Kenya, chairman Evanson Mwaniki explained that the firm would be heading to Ahmedabad, Trivandrum, Chennai and Bangalore in the next few years. Furthermore, travelbizmonitor.com reports that the airline will increase its destination numbers even further to 91 from 57 in the next five years. Mr Mwaniki is quoted by the news provider as saying that aircraft numbers will also grow. He explained: "We are planning to increase our fleet size from the current 34 to 68 in the next five years and to 110 in the next ten years. "We shall start operating to the new routes in India as per the availability and delivery of the ordered aircraft." The firm said earlier this month that passenger numbers grew by 5.2 per cent in the first quarter of the year.
