A residential tower in the Dubai Marina has sealed its place in the Guinness Book of World Records. The 414 metre, 107 storey Princess Tower has been officially recognised as the world’s tallest residential building. The accolade serves to catapult Dubai and the Dubai Marina area into the global spotlight, and further cement Dubai Marina’s popularity as the city’s most coveted property hotspot. Dubai now boasts a double world record for its towering buildings; the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and the world’s tallest residential building, Dubai Marina’s Princess Tower. A number of other buildings in the Dubai Marina area are also close to sealing their place on the world’s tallest list upon completion.
