Travel for Dubai Marina residents has just become even more convenient, with the choice now ranging from land, rail and water. Not only does the area have a dedicated Dubai Metro station, bus routes and easy links to Sheikh Zayed Road, it now has an extra Water taxi station located at the Dubai Marina Mall. The stop was one of two new stations added to the Road and Transport Authority’s Water Taxi network. The air-conditioned water taxis, which hold up to 10 passengers, now pass through 25 stations, from New Dubai areas such as Dubai Marina and the Palm Jumeirah right down to Old Dubai’s Deira and the Dubai Creek.
“The selection of Station 56 of the Rixos The Palm Hotel, and Station 57 of the Dubai Marina Mall was prompted by the huge number of visitors received by these two places, and the Agency's endeavours to scale up the transit routes in Dubai in the near future," commented Essa abdul Rahman al Dosari, The CEO of RTA Public Transport Agency. The Dubai Marina area, which has rapidly become one of the most popular property hotspots in the city, is home to The First Group’s next hotel apartment development, TFG Dubai Marina Hotel.
