Nigerian ministers are going to look at deregulation as a way to revive the highways and roads sector, in news that could interest potential Abuja property investors. Mike Onolememen, the minister of workers, was quoted by leadership.ng as saying that the ministry will be one of the "beneficiaries of subsidy reinvestment" in a move that will improve the transport network. Furthermore, he added that the Abuja dualisation project will be closer to completion following the move. "The FG [federal government] has begun operation on the construction of rail track from Kano-Zaria-Kaduna-Minna, Lagos-Ibadan up to Jebba, to reduce the pressure on our highways and to aid in the movement of goods and services," he told the news provider. Meanwhile, ministers are also working to improve the agricultural sector by removing all duty on farm equipment, it has been announced. They believe that by doing so, Nigeria's economy will be greatly boosted.
