Property investors could be among those to benefit from a new industry event designed to support entrepreneurs in the Middle East.Dubai SME, the agency tasked with developing the small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector in the UAE, has announced that it is to hold an open day later this week.On January 26th, business owners and entrepreneurs will be invited to enter dialogue with SME officials in order to discuss how the region's business sector can be improved.The meeting is intended to promote communication within the UAE's entrepreneur community, the organisation explained.Abdul Basit Al Janahi, chief executive officer of Dubai SME, commented: "Dubai SME seeks to enhance communication with the entrepreneur community and SMEs and provide them the best services."During these meetings, we try to identify the needs of our members and the challenges. Based on their feedback we re-evaluate the services we provide as required to facilitate SME development, which in turn contributes to the economy in the emirate of Dubai and the UAE in general."The news could tempt a number of property investors to discuss how to turn their portfolio into a thriving business.
