Alistair Cook, the England vice-captain, has revealed he is looking forward to play at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, with the venue known as a batting paradise. England currently trail Pakistan in the three-match series and Cook has insisted that the world number one team will not be taking anything for granted in Abu Dhabi.Andrew Strauss's team lost by an innings last time out in Dubai, where they were bowled out cheaply twice. Looking ahead to this week, Cook said: "It's always nice when you turn up to a ground where history suggests you can score runs. "But that doesn't really count for anything. We've got to go out and put our poor performance behind us." With conditions set to favour batsmen, England will hope that senior players in the team will manage to combat the threat posed by Saeed Ajmal and Umar Gul, Pakistan's best bowlers in the first Test.
