The number of international schools in Dubai is set to double over the next decade to meet the city’s rapidly rising demand for British education. According to a new report by UK based research firm ICS, more and more Emirati families are choosing UK curriculum schools for their childrens’ education. Over the last ten years, the number of international schools in Dubai has quadrupled. As well as building more primary and secondary schools, the government has boosted higher education by creating Free Zones such as Dubai Knowledge Village. Established in 2003, DKV is the world’s only Free Zone dedicated to learning. It is located directly opposite the business district of Tecom - home to The First Group’s three hotel apartment developments, Metro Central, First Central and Grand Central.
