Emirates, the Dubai-based airline, has launched a new route to Denmark's capital of Copenhagen. The flights could provide new business links between the UAE and Denmark, and encourage more Dutch travellers to head to Dubai.Richard Vaughan, Emirates' divisional senior vice-president for commercial operations worldwide, commented on the launch: "Copenhagen brings a new and exciting dimension to the Emirates' network."Emirates' passengers from Scandinavia no longer need to travel to Germany to join our flights. They can travel directly from the Danish capital all the way to the Far East and Australasia, via our ultra-modern hub in Dubai."This marks the 114th destination of the airline, which is fast adding to its global network.Indeed, the carrier announced last week that it will offer flights between Dubai and Kuala Lumpur on a double-decker A380 jet. The plane has a spa, beds, personal mini-bar and a wardrobe, as well as a First Class Social Area.
