The Abu Dhabi Emirates Palace hotel has announced a planned expansion, with a number of new restaurants and even a ballroom.They will provide new attractions to visitors of Abu Dhabi's marina and the hotel is also planning art exhibitions, classical music concerts and ballets to be showcased at the location, in an effort to attract more tourists."We maintain an important strategic partnerships with Adta (the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority) and Etihad Airlines, and I believe that together, through the leadership of Adta, we will ensure the development of a sustainable tourism industry in the city of Abu Dhabi," Bugra Berberoglu, Emirates Palace's new general manager, told Gulf News. He explained that the hotel is currently developing the marina and is in the final stages of launching the Emirates Palace yacht club at the site and a fitness centre. Tourism numbers to the emirate could increase after it was recently announced that Etihad Airways is to provide more flights between the UK and Abu Dhabi. It will operate a new route to Manchester twice a day.
