Dubai’s vibrant hotel industry continues to go from strength to strength, recording a double-digit rise in occupancy this June compared to the same period last year. According to research released by STR Global, occupancy levels rose by 12% to 70%. Dubai’s increase also boosted the UAE’s overall performance in the hotel industry, with occupancy levels up by just over 10% to an average of 65%.
The rise shows that business for Dubai’s hotels is certainly not slowing down during the summer months. Events such as the Dubai Summer Surprises Festival have served to keep occupancy levels amongst the best in the Middle East region. The figures also come as positive news for investors in Dubai’s buzzing hotel industry.
