More people could be heading to Dubai to look at property investment after new figures from Dubai's first low-cost airline, flydubai, showed a strong performance last year. The company said that its available seats per kilometre increased by 161 per cent between June 2010 and May 2011, suggesting that more people are now able to travel on the emirate.Furthermore, the company announced a 78 per cent increase in flight numbers, while there was a 200 per cent rise in passengers. In a statement released earlier this week, the company said that the attractiveness of Dubai has helped boost the business."Another measure of success is to look at how many flights are delayed. flydubai's record in this area is one of the best in the industry with on-time performance recorded at 85 per cent," it said."flydubai would not have been able to grow and develop so quickly if we did not operate in such a fantastic environment for business as the UAE."Abu Dhabi Airports Company announced last week that it has seen a massive year-on-year increase in passenger numbers in May.
