Dubai needs an entertainment venue along the lines of Disneyland in order to see tourism boosted, it has been claimed.Mohi-Din BinHendi, president of the UAE's BinHendi Enterprises, believes a resort of the size and scale that Disneyland boasts is required for the emirate to grab a "larger slice of the tourism pie", Arabian Business reported."We need an entertainment anchor for the family, something like Disney but not Disney," he told the news provider."If we have a project like this in Dubai, we have an anchor for the whole of the world,” he told Arabian Business. “There is a big gap between Euro Disney and Tokyo Disney. There is a craving for an entertainment anchor [in this region]."It comes as official reports revealed that the UAE aims to attract 15 million tourists to its shores by 2020.The 17th meeting of the Executive Officer of the Dubai Sports Council recently announced that Dubai has also been selected as the host nation of this year's Continental Beach Soccer World Cup.
