The hotel sector in Dubai is poised to receive a boost from "feeder markets" and unrest elsewhere in the Middle East. That is according to the Rezidor Hotel Group, which claimed that the emirate's hotel sector remains bright, AME Info reported.Potential visitor numbers located in nearby China and India mean the sector should go from strength to strength, the firm added.Elie Younes, vice-president for business development the Middle East and Africa at Rezidor Hotel Group, told the news provider: "This industry is a cyclical business. We will have peaks and valleys."In ten years time, believe me, we'll probably once again face this kind of recession. With regard to this crisis, there has been a recovery, but I don't think confidence is there yet."However, the firm also warned that competition in the Dubai hospitality sector looks set to increase as an influx of new supply will arrive over the coming years.
