The construction of 130 homes in Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman is to commence immediately, recent reports from Gulf News have suggested.
The states are to witness the construction of the homes as part of a wider plan to help develop the northern emirates.
According to the news source, improving living standards and services through investment in Ras al Khaimah property will help to ensure family stability for all Emiratis.
His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi has issued the directives for the implementation of the construction project.
A meeting was held at the Presidential Palace, at which it was resolved that a committee will take up the task of implementing the Shaikh's orders on infrastructure development.
Replacing 100 houses in the Al Jazeera Al Hamra area in Ras Al Khaimah was cited as a good place to start implementing the project.
Meanwhile, the replacement of 30 houses in Al Manama and Al Naseem in Ajman was also decided.
