The highest restaurant in the world has opened at Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building and a Dubai icon.
Situated at 442 metres high on Level 122 of Burj Khalifa, only two levels below the At the Top observation deck, the At.mosphere restaurant opened its doors to guests for the first time this weekend.
The restaurant has been designed as a luxury dining and lounge experience capable of hosting over 210 guests and features an arrival lobby, a main dining floor, private dining rooms and display cooking stations.
Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar Properties, the developer of Burj Khalifa, said: "Being one of a kind, anywhere in the world, At.mosphere offers a unique restaurant experience.
"Every aspect of the restaurant has been carefully designed and executed - be it the elegant decor, warm ambience, food choice and service standards. At.mosphere is indeed about offering the best in dining."
The news comes after the Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat (CTBUH) recently certified Burj Khalifa as a "Global Icon".
