The Arab Boxing Championship, which takes place next month, will have its profile boosted by the attendance of one of boxing's greatest ever fighters."Iron" Mike Tyson, the former Heavyweight Champion of the World, has been confirmed as the guest of honour for the competition, which will be held on January 21st and 22nd.Tyson, who is also know as Malik Abdul Aziz after converting to Islam, will sit ringside for the seven-card fight at Festival City.Ali Hadi Al Sideri, president of the International Arab Boxing Federation, said: "Mike Tyson is arguably one of the best boxers in the world. He fought with a passion that till today remains unsurpassed in the boxing world. It will be our pleasure to have him in Dubai and taking boxing to the next level in the UAE. "Tyson is a legend and having him with us as a chief guest for this championship will benefit boxing to a great extent in the country."The Brooklyn-born boxer fought 58 times in his professional career, winning 50 of his bouts and 44 of those by way of knockout.
