Premium hospitality brand The Address Hotels and Resorts has reported strong occupancy levels at its Dubai properties during the current Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).
A spokesperson said all five of the company's hotels in the emirate - namely The Address Downtown Dubai, The Address Dubai Mall, The Address Dubai Marina, The Address Montgomerie Dubai and The Palace - The Old Town - had recorded "robust occupancy levels" during the first two weeks of the event, Emirates 24/7 reported.
"With a growth in tourist arrivals from across the GCC region, the Indian Subcontinent and China, occupancy levels continue to be strong," added the spokesperson.
"These visitors complement our traditional feeder markets of Europe and the wider MENA region."
It was also suggested that DSF had played a "key role in stimulating the hospitality sector" thanks to its status as a major shopping and entertainment festival.
Meanwhile, Moevenpick Hotels and Resorts told Emirates 24/7 that it had recorded an average occupancy of 70 per cent in the first two weeks of DSF for its Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel property.
