Global research and consultancy firm Oxford Business Group (OBG) has expanded its operations in Ras Al Khaimah by appointing a new team to lead its forthcoming project there.
In a statement, OBG announced that Suzanne P Claiden will lead production of the group's forthcoming business guide, The Report: Ras Al-Khaimah 2011 as new country director, while Ehab Abdrabou takes on the role of editorial manager.
Commenting on her new position, Ms Claiden said: "Ras Al Khaimah has made impressive progress in driving forward its manufacturing and industrial sectors, while also cultivating a business-friendly environment for investors and tapping new export markets.
"I look forward to following the emirate's ongoing economic development and ensuring it is comprehensively analysed in our forthcoming report."
OBG added that The Report: Ras Al-Khaimah 2011 will be "the premier guide for foreign direct investment into the country's economy" and will look at its macroeconomics, infrastructure, political landscape, banking and sectoral developments.
Ms Claiden's move to RAK follows a stint in Bahrain where she played a long-term role leading the group's two recent reports on the kingdom's economic development.
