Global economic trends will dominate the agenda of a major conference at the upcoming Dubai Cityscape event, it has been revealed.
Sam Chandan, global chief economist and executive vice-president of Real Capital Analytics, is due to deliver the keynote speech at the Real Estate Investment and Development Conference, which runs in parallel with Cityscape Global at the Dubai World Trade Centre on October 4th-7th 2010.
Speaking ahead of the presentation, Mr Chandan said he would assess the economic outlook for 2011 and beyond and give his thoughts as to potential hotspots for investors.
The conference programme is also due to feature Ethan Penner, president of CBRE Capital Partners, who will join a panel discussion about the changing role, dynamics and future of private equity investment in global real estate.
Mr Penner will also be joined by Marwan Shehadeh, managing director of UAE-based Al Futtaim Capital and Nabil Sawabini, chairman and CEO of MENA Capital in Lebanon.
Cityscape Global, which last year welcomed more than 200 exhibiting companies and 38,000 participants from 115 countries, will also host the World Architecture Congress and Retail City conference.
