UAE-based property management company Asteco has launched Buy Dubai, an exclusive furnishing subdivision which aims to support the UAE economy by sourcing 80 per cent of its products from local manufacturers.
Among its various functions, Asteco specialises in space planning, fit-outs and project management for hotels and private apartments.
Under the Buy Dubai venture, clients are able to choose from a number of themes, including contemporary and Balinese, as well as colours and price points for their building projects.
Asteco claims that the packages, which offer average delivery times of four weeks rather than three to four months if furniture is bought from overseas, can also add lasting value to properties.
They are also offered in various markets across the Middle East, including Abu Dhabi and Qatar, in addition to Dubai.
Kerrin Matthey, head of design furnishing at Asteco, said: "Asteco was founded in Dubai and as such we believe in supporting the community that has enabled us to build a successful business."
