Emirates aims to boost tourism with summer family fares

UAE airline Emirates is looking to boost tourism within the Gulf region by offering families a 50 per cent saving on children's tickets to three select Middle East destinations during the summer.

Valid for travel to Syria, Jordan and Lebanon, Emirates' Family First offer allows children aged between two and 18 years to fly for half the price when travelling with both parents.

Khalid bel Jaflah of Emirates commented: "Our Family Fares offer is yet another initiative by Emirates that directly benefits families in the UAE.

"We know that from previous years, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon are extremely popular destinations for travel during summer, especially given the large expatriate community in the UAE."

Emirates' Family First promotion follows the airline's popular Kids Go Free campaign, which is now in its second year and valid for families flying to Dubai.

The Family First offer is valid for bookings up until July 31st and for travel until August 31st.ADNFCR-2019-ID-19892738-ADNFCR
