Ubitech, a world-class aeronautical communications company and Bayanat Airports Engineering & Supplies, a leading airport systems integrator, have announced a new strategic partnership aimed at delivering state-of-the-art systems and services to the Middle East and Gulf regions.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bayanat will be able to provide its customers with Ubitech best-in-class products and services.
Bayanat has been operating in the Middle East for ten years and has worked on key projects in the region including all major airports in the UAE and Qatar.
"It's important that we continue to expand our product portfolio to meet our ever increasing customer demands," said Elie Hannouche, strategic communications officer at Bayanat Airports.
"This new strategic partnership offers an exciting future for our customers who will benefit from Ubitech's wide range of products and services not currently being offered by competitors in the region."
The news comes after an official at the General Civil Aviation Authority told the Khaleej Times this week that the UAE's six airports will together handle 41.7 million passengers by 2020 - a significant increase on the current level of about 26 million passengers.
