Dubai Internet City (DIC), a managed ICT business park and a member of TECOM Investments, has announced its official partnership in the inaugural IT Leaders MENA Summit 2010 in Abu Dhabi.
The summit, which will be held from September 29th-30th at the Hilton Hotel, is part of the global IT Leaders Series hosted in strategic locations around the world including Johannesburg, Brussels and Mumbai.
Malek Al Malek, managing director at DIC, said that the Abu Dhabi summit will provide a platform for leading industry experts in the technology sector to exchange ideas and share experience on how they believe their expertise and knowledge can drive a knowledge economy.
"DIC's strategic partnership with the summit aims to reinforce our commitment to industry programmes that will contribute towards building the region's innovation for business success through technology," he added.
The comments come after the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry announced last month that the total exports of its 4,645 members during April this year reached a combined value of AED 16.8 billion - a 13 per cent increase on the same month in 2009.
