Upmarket hotel chain ATM Iberotel has opened the Emirates Grand Hotel in Dubai, its fourth in the UAE.
The firm said the property has been designed to cater for both business and leisure travellers and will stand "as an icon of warm Middle East hospitality".
Ashraf Helmy, business development manager for Iberotel, confirmed the opening was part of a wider expansion strategy in the region.
"Our study on the region predicts that Middle East will be frequented by an ever-increasing number of tourists in the coming days and tourism industry will remain robust," he said.
"By opening all these new properties, the group wishes to establish itself as a major player in this region."
Iberotel opened its first hotel in the UAE, the Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort, in 2007, followed by Iberotel Concorde Fujairah in 2010.
Emirates Grand features a range of luxury bedroom suites as well as a tennis court, swimming pool, meeting rooms and a business centre.
