Infrastructure works have been completed at the Rawdhat property development in Abu Dhabi.
Reem Developers, which is managing the project, confirmed that telecoms, electrical cables, gas, irrigation, sewage and water systems are now all in place.
Rawdhat, which is located in a prime position at the entrance to Abu Dhabi, features residential apartments, office buildings, retail outlets and amenities across a 28-hectare site.
The development is centred on a courtyard design and combines Mediterranean, traditional and modern themes.
Bambang Sugeng Bin Kajairi, chief executive officer of Reem Investments, said: "Rawdhat is strategically located at one of the gateways into Abu Dhabi ... We will continue to work with our plot developers and government authorities to ensure that Rawdhat is developed into an exciting and vibrant community in Abu Dhabi."
Meanwhile, it was reported this week that Abu Dhabi International Airport recorded a 13.8 per cent increase in passenger traffic in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.
