Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower in the heart of Dubai, is now 90 per cent open, its developer has said.
Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar Properties, made the announcement at the official inauguration of the world's first Armani Hotel, which opened at the building today (April 27th), Dow Jones Newswires reported.
Covering six floors, the hotel is one of Burj Khalifa's showpiece attractions, featuring 160 guest rooms ranging from AED4,000 a night to AED40,000.
"The hotel will be a referral point for luxury hospitality projected in the future, and brings global attention to Dubai and Burj Khalifa," said Mr Alabbar.
Armani Hotel, which was designed by international fashion stylist Giorgio Armani and his company, also includes treatment rooms, thermal suites, a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool.
This week, it was also reported that a construction-linked payment plan has been approved for the Dubai Lagoon project in the emirate's investment park.
