House of Fraser - the 160-year-old eminent British fashion retailer - will open its first international store in Dubai next year.
Retail Arabia International, a regional investor in retail, confirmed this week that it will oversee the launch of the 80,000 to 100,000 square foot showroom, Gulf News reported.
The investor is a growing retail venture, set up by Daud Arabian and Gulf General Investment. It has already established franchise partnerships with brands like Hamleys, Oscar de la Renta and David Morris.
Nabeel Daud, managing director and chief executive at Retail Arabia International, told the news provider that the collaboration with House of Fraser is part of the company's rapid expansion plan.
Retail Arabia International is now planning to roll out a number of House of Fraser stores across the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
The company also owns Gourmet Gulf, which operates 17 restaurants across the Gulf region.
