Stations along the Dubai Metro network have been fitted with a quality air conditioning system to ensure passenger comfort.
The 29 Red Line stations now feature 305 Trane air handling units and 1,120 fan coil units.
Trane says that the units create the best possible indoor air quality at the stations by controlling temperature, humidity, odours and sound levels.
"It is imperative for us to meet the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction for Dubai commuters," said Ahmed Mohammed Sharif, an electromechanical systems manager at Dubai's rail agency.
Following its launch in September last year, the Dubai Metro has been a popular transportation option in the emirate. Passenger numbers broke the three million mark in its first two months.
The Dubai Metro is also the longest automated driverless metro system in the world and the first of its kind in the Middle East.
