Dubai International Academic City welcomes Westminster students
Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), the emirate's higher education free zone, has welcomed over 100 field trip students from the Westminster School in Dubai.

DIAC organised the outing as part of its attempts to increase awareness among high school students about the facilities and programmes on offer at the academic city, Al Bawaba reported.

During the visit, students were given a campus tour and briefed about DIAC and the Student Hub department, the official representative of the student body at DIAC.

The freezone currently hosts 32 institutions from 13 different countries including the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, India, France, Singapore, and the UAE.

According to Al Bawaba, about 12,000 students are enrolled into the various programmes on offer at DIAC, with the city turning out about 3,500 graduates each year.

DIAC academic partners including the Manipal University, Heriot-Watt University, and the Michigan State University presented their curriculum to the students during the visit.
