The Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry has pledged to support the business community in the region as the emirate recovers from the effects of the global financial crisis.
Such a pledge came as the body made a services briefing at its Dubai premises today (Tuesday, February 16th).
The briefing session provided an overview of key customer-facing departments and how best to use their services in a practical and hassle-free way.
In addition, the chamber's team of senior officials met the attendees individually to deal with their personal queries about the services.
At the moment, chamber services include issuing certificates of origin, the authentication of various types of commercial documents, the provision of economic research and studies, arbitration and commercial dispute resolution and credit services.
Last week, Gulf News reported that the Dubai government plans to set up a new trade regulator for protecting business interests in the emirate.
