Burj Kalifa, the world's tallest tower in the heart of Downtown Dubai, is set to welcome its first residents during an orientation programme for the homeowners of Armani Residences, located on levels nine to 16 of the tower.
The Armani Residences, which include 144 private apartments personally designed by Giorgio Armani, are close to completion. The handover of the residences will be followed by the opening of the Armani Hotel Dubai, which also occupies several levels of Burj Khalifa.
According to Emaar Properties, Burj Khalifa's developer, the handover of apartments will begin at the start of March.
Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Emaar's managing director, said: "Reflecting the essence of Burj Khalifa, all the homes have been designed to the highest standards and will offer an unparalleled lifestyle choice for residents."
Downtown Dubai has been described as the new heart of Dubai and encompasses the Dubai Mall, one of the world's largest shopping and entertainment centres, several hotels, offices and homes.
