The Dubai Economic Department (DED) has hosted a delegation from Ras Al Khaimah's Department of Economic Development aimed at enhancing bilateral relations.
DED presented a number of its initiatives during the visit including its contribution to preparing a local system of key performance indicators based on international standards, it was revealed in a statement.
The body also disclosed details of its responsibilities in fulfilling the requirements of the "Doing Business" Report of the International Finance Corporation and World Bank by coordinating with concerned local and federal authorities.
"The visit further strengthens the long-standing relations between DED and its partners and reiterates our commitment to enhancing the UAE's sustainable economic growth and increasing competitiveness," said Saeed Rashid Saeed Al Suwaidi of DED.
In addition, the official sought to highlight DED's initiatives to develop the emirate's economic performance and its efforts to strengthen the partnership and communication with the government and private sectors.
