The management of Iceland Water Park, a recently opened theme park in Ras Al Khaimah, has praised the sophisticated technology used to create some of its unique attractions.

Chawla Santokh, director of PoloRAK amusements, suggested that the techniques employed by BaySystems Pearl had played a major part in the success of the park.

"The high versatility of solutions offered by BaySystems Pearl has enabled us to realise innovative approaches in completing this unique Water Park in the region," said the executive.

BaySystems Pearl, which is a joint venture systems house of Dubai-based Bayer MaterialScience, supplied its Baytec spray applications for many of the attractions including the Kids Clove area, Penguin Bay Rain Dance Pool and the Water Fountain at the water park.

In addition, Baymer spray foam was used to create the artificial snow which supports the Iceland theme of the amusement park.

The Iceland Water Park, which opened its doors last month, is the first offering of WOW RAK, a 120-acre family entertainment destination for Ras Al Khaimah which is also due to include an amusement park, shopping mall and resort facilities.ADNFCR-2019-ID-800248933-ADNFCR
