RAK Airways, the national carrier of Ras Al Khaimah, has announced the signing of a new cooperation agreement with RAK Insurance as it looks to add to its range of value-added services.
In a statement, the airline said that the deal with RAK Insurance will see passengers offered travel insurance starting as low as US$5 per person.
RAK Airways chief executive officer Omar Jahameh commented: "Our cooperation agreement with RAK Insurance will enhance the range of value-added services we are already able to provide passengers with.
"In keeping with our strategy to deliver outstanding value to all RAK Airways customers we are constantly looking for new, innovative ways to complement our products and services."
The news comes after the airline recently announced partnerships with regional companies to offer car hire services to passengers.
RAK Airways last month relaunched scheduled services following a two-year hiatus brought on by the global downturn.
