The $11.5 billion university project is expected to be the world's largest centre of higher learning for Arab women upon its completion and is due to accommodate over 26,000 students.
It will feature 13 colleges including for medicine, dentistry, nursing, naturopathy, IT, languages, instant translation and pharmacy.
RAK Ceramics chief executive officer Khater Massaad said: "RAK Ceramics shares a common vision with Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University in terms of the quality we strive to achieve, and in line with this we will be supplying specially developed porcelain tiles to offer a distinct character that will complement the university's stature as a centre of academic excellence for Arab women."
In addition to its status as a $1 billion global conglomerate in the ceramic industry, RAK Ceramics is also a founding member of Emirates Green Building Council, which supports the development of sustainable buildings in the UAE.
