A brand new Audi showroom is to be constructed on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road between the second and third interchange.
The announcement was made during a press conference in Dubai to mark the launch of the new Audi A8.
According to the car giant, the new building will be designed on the state-of-the-art Audi "terminal" showroom concept and will represent an investment of AED 100 million.
It will comprise 94,000 sq ft of showroom and office space on three floors with space for 61 display cars, making it the world's largest Audi terminal in terms of the number of new cars on display.
The architecture will also integrate delivery areas where up to five cars can be handed over to their new owners at the same time.
Audi said: "The terminal's architecture embodies the sportiness of the brand in emphasising the dynamics of the curve - especially in the presentation areas and windows."
Other Audi terminals are already in place in Sydney, Tokyo and Mexico City, with over 350 Audi terminals worldwide due to be built by the end of 2012.
