Dubai International Jewellery Week, one of the most prestigious consumer and trade exhibitions in the Middle East, opened yesterday (October 7th).
Running until Sunday (October 10th) at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the event features around 300 exhibitors from more than 27 countries.
The event has been described by its organisers as the perfect platform for jewellery manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers to showcase, network, exchange knowledge and conduct business.
"This is the definitive jewellery event of the year for consumers and exhibitors alike. With a number of exciting new countries making their debut in Dubai we have the finest jewellery showcase yet, with precious gems from around the globe, one-off collectors' items and trendsetting designs," commented Trixee Loh, senior vice-president at DWTC.
Earlier this week, the Pandora international jewellery brand announced its entrance in the UAE retail market via its official distributor company Panmeas Jewelry, which recently opened a new office in Dubai.
