ABB, a leading power and automation technology group, will aim to promote "innovative equipment and services" for boosting the efficiency of the Gulf region's oil and gas sector when the ADIPEC 2010 conference begins next week.
In a statement, the company said that process automation solutions that deliver productivity benefits to the industry will be highlighted when ADIPEC 2010 takes place in Abu Dhabi from November 1st-4th.
"The Gulf's oil and gas industry has been pivotal to the development of the economy over the last 50 years and has helped the region weather the economic downturn," said Bjarte Pedersen, head of ABB's process automation division in India, Middle East and Africa.
"Oil and gas producers are focusing on resource optimization to increase yields through technological innovations."
ABB said it will present its range of analyzers, instrumentation solutions, drives, motors, dry- and oil-type transformers, and low-voltage equipment for the oil and gas sector at its stand at ADIPEC 2010.
The ABB Group of companies operates in around 100 countries and employs about 117,000 people.
