Couture lovers from around the world will descend on Dubai to enjoy Arabia Fashion Week (AFW) later this year.
Details have been released as to what people can expect from the event, which takes place between November 4th and 6th, including the Spring/Summer 2010 collections of 22 design houses.
These will come from 11 international locations and will mark a high-profile showcase for one of Dubai's latest venues the Palladium - which is situated in the emirate's Media City district.
Yaser Ali, chief executive officer of THELOOK Fashion & Events, said the region offers an "exceedingly impressive fashion facade" that makes it idea for such a celebration of design.
"AFW aims to bridge the gap by offering an invaluable platform for cross cultural expression in the region's most sought after destination, while bringing luxury back to Dubai runways," he added.
The event will follow Dubai Fashion Week, which is scheduled to take place between October 24th and 29th at the Al Baraha Ballroom of the InterContinental Hotel.
