A new luxury golf complex is to be managed by Dubai-based hospitality company Jumeirah Group.
The firm, which is also a member of the Dubai Holding group, has announced a partnership with SGTM Immobilier that will see it look after the new Marrakech Golf & Polo Resort.
It has been announced that when completed, the facility will have an 18-hole course with clubhouse, as well as an academy and two hotels - both of which will be five-star.
Two polo fields and a practice area for players will also feature and offer a third five-star residency, while a spa and luxury villas will populate the sector.
In total Jumeirah Group will be responsible for over 630 rooms and 50 villas, with the development expected to cover around 177 hectares of land.
Gerald Lawless, executive chairman of the Jumeirah Group, said: "We are delighted to announce the signing of this unique development [which] is a welcome addition to [our] diverse portfolio as we continue to expand."
The organisation also manages the Wild Wadi Waterpark, which next month celebrates its tenth birthday.
