Those planning to invest in property in the UAE may be interested to hear that preparations are now well underway at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
Its inaugural Formula 1 race is now just 67 days away and, according to Richard Cregan, chief executive of Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management work at the state-of-the-art track is in full swing.
The Formula Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race takes place on November 1st, with qualifying sessions beginning on October 30th, Gulf Today reports.
Meanwhile, it has been announced the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, GP2 Asia Series and Chevrolet Supercars Middle East Challenge will be on hand to "add thrills" to the race weekend before the main Formula 1 race gets underway.
Commenting on this development, Mr Cregan said: "This is a world-class line up to have at our inaugural Grand Prix."
In related news, Brazilian Formula 1 driver Bruno Senna has lavished praise on the new circuit, claiming its facilities are state-of-the-art.
Speaking to motor news provider Paddock Talk, the racing ace said the garages are "huge".
