Commercial property owners in Dubai could be offered a helping hand when it comes to the successful running of their information and computer technology (ICT) services later this year.
Gitex Technology Week, set to run from October 18th to 22nd at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, will showcase a range of technological innovations.
Now in its 29th year, the event will be attended by a range of major market players including Dell, Epsom, Panasonic, Brother and McAfee.
Leading industry figures will also be on hand to talk about the latest business opportunities in the region, with tens of thousands of visitors set to flock to Dubai for the conference.
Organiser of the event Helal Saeed Almarri said it will play a significant role in helping to boost the ICT sector in the Middle East.
"This year, Gitex's strategy is to provide the market with cost effective creative technology solutions to ride out the current climate and prepare for the new demands that recovery brings," he added.
According to the UAE Ministry of Economy, consumer spending in the region rose by 32 per cent last year, with tech-savvy residents among the biggest buyers of electronics products in the world.
