People with a property investment in Dubai who want to take their children out on a day trip may find a new attraction at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo of interest.
A new glass-bottom boat promises to give visitors the chance to view some 33,000 sea creatures – including sharks and rays - from a "unique perspective".
The attraction could be educational too, as there will be tour guides on hand to explain about the animals to people who take the boat trip.
Visitors who want to take advantage of the attraction will need to pay an extra AED 25 to their admittance ticket. For another AED 5, they have the chance to feed the fish too.
Chief executive of Emaar Retail Arif Amiri said there has been a lot of hype over the glass-bottom boat rides.
"The experience offers visitors a unique opportunity to watch and study the fascinating aquatic animals from close encounters," he stated.
As well as the boat rides, the Aquarium and Underwater Zoo offers people the chance to dive with sharks.
