Land transactions carried out on property for sale in Dubai totalled AED1.58 billion last week, the latest figures from the Land Department show.
According to the organisation, sales AED795.49 million during the week, while mortgages constituted the remaining AED792.53 million exchanged for property for sale in Dubai.
Over the course of the week, a total of 45 sale transactions were completed, with the most valuable plot situated in Dubai Sport City changing hands for AED59.56 million.
The next two most valuable plots were located in Nad Al Shiba and Al Barsha.
"The Ranches area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some nine transactions. Emirates Hills Third followed it with six sales," the Land Department added.
Figures for this week were down on sales completed in the last week of June, when the Land Department recorded some 57 transactions with a total value of AED2.24 billion.
