The value of property transactions recorded in Dubai last week hit AED2.24 billion, the Land Department has announced.
According to figures released by the group today (July 2nd), sales completed last week totalled AED922.9 million, while the value of mortgages approved for property for sale in Dubai hit AED1.31 billion.
Figures for the previous week showed total sales of AED1.27 billion, while the value of mortgages stood at AED919.3 million.
Last week, a total of 57 transactions were completed, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Barsha First, which changed hands for AED31.5 million.
"The Ranches area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 15 transactions. Emirates Hills Third followed it with nine sales," the Land Department added.
Emirates Hills Third also registered the highest value by turnover, with AED80.7 million worth of transactions completed over the seven-day period.
The Ranches and Palm Jumeirah took second and third place in the value by turnover rankings.
